What is the IIT JEE Exam?

IIT JEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam that comprises two stages – JEE Mains & JEE Advanced. JEE Main is a screening exam; the candidates who can clear the exam are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.​

The candidates get admission into IITs when they clear JEE Advanced, the final exam. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main & JEE Advanced) is conducted twice a year in online mode. It is for the selection of candidates to 4-year B.Tech, B.Pharm, 5-year B.Arch, Integrated M.Sc., and M.Tech courses.​
